For all who have mentioned coal powered EV's are not eco friendly and are just redirecting emissions elsewhere here's our latest video for you.

I drive a gas car, and i would NEVER park in a EV charging station, I respect your choice in vehicle, so I see no reason to hog the few charging stations there are

Here is a solution.
Get tesla to produce an extension cord. Block the car in front while charging. Problem solved #2

I own a Volt - same issue. Go to the local mall to plug in while getting what I need, all 4 EV stations blocked by ICE cars. I look at that and think "what's the point?"

I have just returned from a journey in the uk. £100 'parking fee' for an ice car taking up a charging bay. That focuses the attention of the drivers.

Really stupid. Need to post TOW AWAY IF NOT CHARGING, and ENFORCE IT.

The gas station example is a good one. Try parking at a gas station pump. You would be towed so fast it would make your head spin.

It's like pulling up into a gas station and all the spots are taken by people doing other things like shopping. So you cant fill up with fuel.

Morons that take up electric vehicle charging spots need to be fined and towed.

In the U.K. There is a £100 fine for anyone who parks at an E.V charging point. If it remains there for some time it is clamped with an £80.00 release fee. Then after 12 hours it is towed with a further £180 charge for towing and storage. It can be quite an expensive parking spot.

I am in the hotel business. Most hotels will ask for your license plate so they can call if something happens and you need to move your car. It happened to me in my volt. I found the one place that had a plug and the called the guest and asked if he wouldn't mind moving and he did. Now if it is 3am, that is. Different story. I think some do it on purpose. Personally while we want the location to be good. When my hotels put in destination chargers I ask the, to find the least desirable parking spaces and place them there. Better to have it available than to be close to the door

The problem is that those who park in these spot see them as just parking space. To an EV owner these spots are like a spot at the pump; they need them to "refuel" and keep driving. Any person in a gas vehicle would be pissed if others just decided to park at the gas pump and leave.

i don't see regular cars parking at superchargers, what i do see is Tesla cars parking at superchargers and not charging, they just park because its closer to the entrance at places.

the charging units should have internal cameras to capture number plates to catch out abusers and fined them.

Once i get my tesla and i happened to be using one of the super chargers, I would leave a note inside my car window with my phone number if i happened to forget to move my car once it's fully charged. That's my way of helping the situation as much as possible.

How about an auxiliary extension cable so you can reach the charger and parallel block the ICE car in. I'd buy one !

ive seen other ev's icing people aswell. one of the mall within my area has multiple charging stations and sometimes ev's will just park in them without charging. people need to be more considerate

In Europa it is forbitten for non electric cars to park on tesla parkinglots. All gas cars get towed away and get a ticket for this.

Same issue with healthy people using handicapped parking spaces. I didn't know how prevalent the problem was until my father-in-law became crippled and I had to haul him to the store periodically. I'm here to tell you we have some sorry people walking this earth without any regard for the people to whom they impose. You get plenty of empathy from me. Thanks for the video. Hopefully it with encourage people to be decent.

Why don't tesla barrier the charge area and when you arrive at it send a pin code to your car to gain entry. Just a thought. Love your videos.

I love all the hate coming from these 16-year-old e-trolls who probably don't have driver's licenses.

1) The Tesla stations, from what I've seen, ARE farthest from the building. Not like they're right at the front door next to handicapped spots.
2) Tesla does "own" or run those spots. The spaces are rented by Tesla. No Tesla spaces, no extra Tesla money for the hotel... money they wouldn't be making at all otherwise. Hotel charges Tesla for costs, Tesla Charges Tesla owners through prices. So, yeah, Tesla owners do own it.

I don't own a Tesla at all but regular cars have no business parking at a charging station they should be towed away if caught.
