There are times I realize I'm dreaming and I can't do anything about it. It's fine when the dreams going well but it sucks when it's a nightmare.

I usually gain full control of the dream, give myself the ability to fly then get too excited and wake myself up

I had a lucid dream where i was in the woods walking on rocks next to a water path and i heard a creepy scream infront of me then i fell down into the water in my dream.

I can control my nightmares. I keep reseting until I figure out how to survive and only then can I exit the nightmare to a better dream

I almost always lucid dream and it can be pretty exhausting. Sometimes i have full controll about everything but sometimes i have a degree of control but not full control, so the thing I want to dream about happens but then there comes something unexpected, I notice it, remove it from the dream just for it to pop up elsewhere. Like a giant hole expanding or something

Dreams are highly underrated. Lucid dreaming can help you in pretty much all areas of life, it ofen feels like real life and you can have pretty much any experience you can imagine and experience pure euphoria.
It's better than acid

When you go back to kindergarten but realise you’re in a dream so you yell your head off to try and wake up:

Crazy thing that happens to me a lot is when i wake up, and then wake up for real. For instance ill be dreaming something outrageous, that i know is a dream, and ill “wake up”. Im usually somewhere recognizable, and so normal, i wont realize im actually still dreaming till i wake up. Once im actually awake i always realize i was actually dreaming both times, but boy is it trippy. Cause the first wake up im like, doing normal stuff, im not flying or talking to an animal, most of the time im just starting my day, or talking or interacting with family. Waking up twice is very strange and hard to describe, cause i realize that im in reality because i notice while i was doing normal stuff in the dream i couldnt really “feel” anything or smell or such. Last night i dreamed of this awesome floating island, then i “woke up”, was talking to my brother, we were laughing and he was braiding my hair, he said cause he likes to do it for his daughter. I woke up for real and realized 1) my brother has no daughter, but a son and 2) he lives in california and would NEVER braid my hair so casually😂😂😂❤❤

I control my dreams all the time, I know I’m dreaming, and I wake up when I want and choose my actions

I entered my first lucid dream by pinching myself while dreaming.

Lucid nightmares came first then dreams after I had gained autonomy within my nightmares. Periods of absolute awareness and control, teetering on the edge of a line I could fall off any moment. The best way I can personally describe the feeling was that it was akin to laying in the soft grass on a sunny day, willing yourself to stay awake and aware, but in the state of relaxation and bliss that you wish to have, however never falling so far into that feeling such that you fall out of control again. It is and always will be a treasured and precious skill I will work to hone so as to truly grasp this immensely valuable gift we as humans are capable of holding.

I get sent to a very specific town that is a jumbled mess of metropolis features alongside run down village features with various climates (I've had this dream as different days in every time I dream of it)

Some tips I've used: First is during your daytime hours mark the palm of your hand with a letter or symbol (ex: "A") and throughout the day when you look at your hand and see the symbol press it. It's a habit you'll then do in your dreams, but there your finger goes through your palm. This triggers your awareness that you're dreaming.

To verify you're actually dreaming, squeeze your nose and try to breath through it. In real life, nothing happens. In dreams, you feel like you're breathing through your ears. You know you're lucid dreaming

While you're lucid dreaming, to keep from "waking up" (sometimes you dream you wake up but really just go back to normal dreaming) squeeze or clench one of your hands into a fist. If you do "wake up", re-do the dream checks above.

To change locations or see someone, just think where your want to go or who to see is behind you and turn around. To "fly" just think "up" and look there along with other directions.

I often have a lot of lucid dreams. Unfortunately I don’t care if they are good or bad dreams. When i know that im in a dream. I often get anxiety of never waking up. So i always try to force myself awake. And in my lucid dream, if i cannot wake i panick. If u have a lucid dream and u want to wake up. My best reccomondation is try to gain control of your REAL body parts. Or try to die in ur dream.

I practiced lucid dreaming for about a year. Some advice, if you’re just curious let it happen naturally. Once you find the triggers of your dreams you can’t unlearn them and if you had a stressful day or week your dreams will turn dark…

If you have any questions about how I practiced I will gladly comment back.
