What’s the point of this “blind test” if you felt the guitars. Should only be able to use your ears. Max should have been the one playing and you had to guess.

Not really a true blindfold test is it? The orangewood in the only one without a cutaway and it looked like you touched it, maybe I'm wrong.. Also the Taylor appears to have an arm carve which you would definitely notice while playing.
Still informative and fun to watch though 👍

And #3 has no cutaway...duh. ooohh that smell.

At a certain point the cost of a guitar is like the cost of a bottle of wine. Provided there's a passable level of craftsmanship, a lot of people can tell the difference between a $6 bottle of wine and a $60 bottle of wine. But very few folks can tell the difference between a $60 bottle of wine and a $600 bottle of wine. Same for most guitars. The cost ends up being about who made it rather than what it actually does.

Marty makes any guitar sound like 50k! Both sounded amazing from both of ye

Taylor sounds great of course, Orangewood sounds better than the Dangelico imo. I'm becoming a fan of Orangewood as a great value with high quality workmanship.

Instead of a guessing game, it'd be better to have a person that was only roughly 5 years in and unfamiliar with all the guitars in question, as well as not knowing their price and have them evaluate the sound and comfort to play.
It's just my two cents, but that would be more of a fair assessment for what really matters

I would like the smell of the Orangewood guitar as it would smell of affordability and of decent quality that I wouldn't have to pay silly money for. :)

Just a tip Marty, but don't wear the blinders when driving a vehicle or walking near cliffs. Do Orangewood guitars smell like oranges?

There are so many promising things out about orangewood guitars I’ve seen, and I would love to see you dive deeper into checking out this brand for us viewers to get a more thorough opinion

You shouldn’t have seen or played any of these guitars before guessing.
