Why are people so upset?? Yeah, he's just playing a powerchord. So what? His bends are well played and he sounds great. People will always find ways to bring others down when they're just wanting to have fun. Smh.

He's honestly a great guitarist, I just watched some other videos of him playing complicated solos. He has great timing and is a skilled musician. Im willing to bet he's better than anyone in the comments hating on him. People are just upset because he has a great stage presence and is living a good life.

I am not the hottest musician, ie. guitarist but I have yet to witness Johnny Depp play anything that could be construed as exceptionally talented. This is just noise! I still like him as an actor and I consider him multitalented and he's having fun, which you're supposed to do but I can't call him a great musician.

He looks like a rockstar, what he’s playing is super simple, and his tone is good, nice vibrato on the power chords. I’d like to see a lot more. Sounds fine to me. I’ve been playing 43 years. In this short clip you can’t tell if he’s a great player or not. But there’s certainly nothing wrong with what he’s doing here.
