At 61 I stopped using foundation, I started using snail mucin serum and a peptide moisturiser and my daughter said I look way younger....I do put a small amount of facial tan on which gives me a glow, but I look dewy for the first time in my life! I have ashy blonde/silvery natural hair and my skin looks so much healthier with a sprinkling of faint freckles I've had all of my life. Good skincare and not much makeup is a very French way of doing and I LOVE it! Embrace your skin don't hide it, it's so liberating!

Please name a few affordable products that work against hyperpigmentation for people of color. Many products I’ve tried don’t work on me as a strongly melanated person, even though it claimed to be against hyperpigmentation.

Interesting! The awareness about skin tone, hyperpigmentation, etc. and what to do about it, must be working. Otherwise, light to medium skin tints probably wouldn't be as popular as they are.

My current issue is this. I don’t have any dark spots or really anything other than my face is just WAY too pale. My skin tone everywhere else on my body is darker, a light tan colour naturally but for some reason only my face is ultra white. Completely devoid of any healthy color that the rest of my body has, it is not a good look trust me. I’ve tried face tanning creams etc but I usually end up hating them because they look splotchy. I take care of my skin and have a good skin regime but if I could fix this issue of being so unhealthily pale looking only on my face I would be extremely happy. Any suggestions would be welcome ❤❤ ❤❤❤❤
