To all of those people asking what to do if they are black, it doesn’t matter. You can still have an undertone. Just keep in mind that just because you’re black, you may not always have a warm undertone as it seems as though at first thought.

Side note: The face one might not apply to you if you are very fair/pale. Lots of pale people have a natural "flush" to their face/other parts of their body, so it will look pink (aka "cool toned") in those areas even if the rest of the body is actually a different undertone. Myself for example: I'm very pale and I have a flush to my face but I'm actually neutral skin toned/leaning slightly warm everywhere else. So if you're like me I wouldn't use my face as a factor towards undertone and instead use your wrists or something. I know she said both = neutral but I'm more so talking about if your /whole/ face is flushed that doesn't necessarily mean you are cool toned.

I’ll note that you can still be warm or cool and have these “neutral” things apply. That’s why most color analysis include “soft/mute, ” which is essentially that borderline area between warm and neutral or cool and neutral.

Hey, guys, there's also an olive skintone, which has green undertones. It's actually more common than you think. If you're confused are you neutral or not, you may be olive!

Neutral skin tones might be confused like I was. My veins were mostly blue. No hints of green. Some purple-blue veins under the blue veins. But, I ended up not having a cool skin tone. I still looked bad in cool or warm tones, so I got color matched on Mac's website and found out my undertones are neutral. It completely changed my life. Get color-matched somewhere using your camera and a consultant IF you're still unsure.
