I kind of prefer the darkness of the osmo pocket. The pocket 2 default settings seem overexposed

Wow I didn't think the difference of 1/2.3" + F2 vs. 1/1.7" + F1.8 would be that much. Although the pocket 2's lowlight video still isn't quite up to the ZV1's lowlight video, it's definitely an upgrade over the pocket 1. Thanks for doing this test!

We need more manual controls in Pocket 2 so you can adjust how you want the video to look. Important during nighttime because of the smaller sensor and very little or no daylight. Lets hope they do make improvements in the future firmware releases.

Got my Pocket 2 this week. The All-in-One Handle is the best accessory ever. Makes holding it far easier and more secure. They should of thought of that before😀

Thank you for the night test, very helpful for decision making. I think you might be holding it too close. The footage looks great, but you look kind of soft on the Pocket 2. I generally prefer f1.8 for night shooting, so I'm biased.

Thanks for your comparison, I'm considering one of these cameras to better my channel and this helped a lot. Actually both seemed to do a good job in low light, MUCH better than the GoPro Hero 3+ I'm using now LOL!!

You can buy the DJI wide angle for the P1 also which will give it a wider view and everything will be very similar. For the mics, most vloggers just overlay the audio anyways. Not much of an upgrade, but a refresh.

I am impressed with pocket 2. I think you sold me on it. I have been doing most of my action video using GoPro Hero 5 and am looking forward to this upgrade. BTW...Nestor from Group III sent me your way for this review.
