perfect I just purchased one of these a couple of days ago the pocket 3 . You're absolutely spot-on with your information . I had to pocket 2 about a year and a half ago and I absolutely hated it and sent it back . The pocket 3 combo is so much better . Worth every penny .

Optics: The Pocket 3 perfectly matches my Mavic 3 Classic for all my filming. Now, my Pocket 2 is my backup camera and is a great 2nd remote control camera for 2 person interviews. Both are great cameras for web-based filmmaking. MeHi from Newfoundland.

I think the night shots on the pocket 3 are undeniably better than the pocket 2. As someone planning to take quite a bit of night shots, I think I'm definitely sold on the pocket 3 over the 2 (despite the 2 being an amazing buy by itself). Thanks for the great comparison video!

Hi Otto, You are my favorite reviewer of all time ;). I already own pocket 2 and wanted to get pocket 3 but then the combo version does not include the DJI mic as it did for pocket 2. So decided not to buy as I use DJI mic and won't buy the pocket 3 until the combo includes the DJI mic. The build quality of pocket 2 is also better than pocket 3.

Mainly shoot walking tour videos for fun with my iPhones on a gimbal but borrowed a Pocket 2 and was amazed how discreet it was, especially here in the Philippines where many areas are not too safe if you are walking around with an expensive phone in open sight, so thought about getting one. Looked at the Pocket 3 in a store and it looked a lot bigger to me, purely in terms of walking videos it seemed to lose the advantage of being discreet. For vlogging would probably still prefer to use my phones on a gimbal because you can actually see yourself properly. Just my opinion.

DJI Pocket 3 pixel size is nearly the size that A6700 has. I tested outdoor walking in the dark where snowy areas and some light with Pocket 2 and 3 and difference is huge. P3 can see nearly in the total darkness. Anyway Pocket 2 image is super good in good light anyway. Proper light is important with photos and videos.

My main issue with my pocket 2 is the sky is always washed out white light when it's cloudy, and it messes up all videos I shoot outside. I was really disheartened with my Japan footage from my recent trip. I felt like every shot was ruined by bright sky.

The appeal of better dynamic range is what makes me want the pocket 3.

Great comparsion review.
I have Pocket 2, but in some review of Pocket 3 I saw (think it was wrong described at watched video, it was no informative) that had AI Tracking advanced option, that can to do a frame composition with tracking object. Works like - hold tracking object at Left/Center/Right of shoting frame. (like if blogger something presenting, and it will be good when tracking object (human) will be on side of frame instead center).
Can you check and confirm that option. Or may I wrong?

I have neither of the 2 cameras, am considering buying OP3, it has quite many good reviews. However, I have seen OP2 available for half price of OP3. That is tempting. One of the (probably main) disadvantages of OP3 vs OP2 seems to be small display. As for stabilitazation and horizontal leveling are these 2 products comparable? Thanks.

I have a problem with my DJI Pocket 3 every time I record on low light or on night I get does green dots like the iPhone when you record on low light or night. How can I fix that issues.
