This scene always gives me chills. Not just because of the music and vibes, but also because of the fact that even while breaking down and falling apart, Casita still put the family first and protected them in any way possible.

This part always broke my heart. The parents thought of there kids. But the kids value there worth in there gifts and feel they are nothing without it do to the years of abuse. So they would rather give there life to save that candle than get out and save there lives so that they can live

0:48 Why is no one talking about Antonio being absolutely traumatized. Kid's only five years old. His home is crumbling around him, he watched his brother and cousin fall from a great height, his favorite cousin is still in danger, his family is panicking, all the adults are shouting and screaming, the magic is dying, Casita is dying, and to top it off, you can see the moment he realizes he's about to lose all his beloved new friends. Parce, Pico, Chispi, the rats, the coatis, all of them. He can't talk to any of them anymore, may never even see them again. Poor kid just can't process any of this. The whole ordeal is too much for him and he just freezes. It's like two seconds of footage but it breaks my heart every time


Also, everyone talks about it but deservedly so, Felix snatching his baby up to keep him safe 💙

I would have to say this is the moment Abuela realized she'd made a massive mistake in the way she'd directed her family. If you notice her expression when she watches Mirabel try to save the candle. Pure terror and worry.

She realizes that she's lost touch with what was most important. Family, not the magic of the candle. Worse yet, her granddaughter could have died or gotten seriously hurt trying to protect that magic.

In short, Mirabel couldt have died trying to earn the acceptance of Abuela. I think once the dust settles...thats when Abuela truly realizes whats important.

Its not a magic house, the respect of the village. Its about the happiness and love of her family

It's weird I get so much emotion from a house and yet it's so cool. I love the final save Casita does. You can feel it's desperation to save Mirabel, even though it knows it's dying, it does it out of the purest love for her.

I can't believe it took Mirabel almost dying to prove her worth to her family. What if Casita wasn't able to save her? The whole family would regret being mean to her and can't make up for it. That's why you should also love your family no matter what.
