0:51 the “miércoles” part always get me 😂 Latinos at times say Miércoles(means Wednesday in English) because the word starts similar to “Mierda” which means Shit but some Latinos say Miércoles instead to censor themselves.

this entire scene was just comedic perfection. from mirabel's dad's "miraboo! ya got your party pants on?" entrance, to the stare down, to mariano's 𝓐𝓿𝓞𝓬𝓪𝓭𝓞, to the pepa side of the family absolutely losing their minds, EVERYTHING.

A rundown of the tiny little touches that makes this fantastic

- Casita pitifully trying to help Mirabel hide the vision.

- Agustín's expression when he sees the vision. His face is just frozen is shock except for his eyes darting from the vision to Mirabel.

-The casual way he moves Mirabel aside with the back of his hand. The body language in this movie is incredible.

- Not one, but _two_ of Delores' adorable little squeaks.

- Agustín saying "miercoles". It's "Wednesday" in Spanish but it's also a common way of censoring yourself in Spanish when you're about to say "mierda", which means "shit".

- "Lets hope tonight is not a horrible disaster" Just twisting the knife in Mirabel's side.

- Mirabel's eyes when she's staring at Delores from across the table.

- Felix telling Camillo to fix his face like it's a normal thing they have to deal with.

- The look on Abuela's face after Felix's spittake.

- The look on Agustín's face as he's passing the cream.

- Isabel's look of contempt at Mirabel as she's passing the cream to her.

- When Pepa tells Julietta what's going on, Julietta is the only one that doesn't freak out. She just looks at Mirabel with concern. Best Mom.

I love how whenever someone says "just act normal" the last thing you can do, is act normal. Mirabel and her dad in this scene are very good examples of that.
