New Dell Fixes Biggest Windows Laptop Problem

The Surface book has similar specs my ass. First of all, it only comes with dual core CPU's (the i7 included) and the optional GPU is equivalent to a GTX 940, as supposed to the 960 found in the dell. And to top it all off it has a much smaller screen. For around the same price, the Dell is a much better buy

The Surface Book's top spec at $2700 has half the cores of the XPS (the "i7" is a dual core), and its graphics chip, which is on the order of a 940M, is much less powerful than the XPS's 960M.

the surface book for $1500 does not have similar specs. it's fast lower than this. the version that has similar specs cost more than 2.1k

5.5 hours? Lol, Dell apparently claimed that the 4K model had 11 hours of battery life. I guess it was too good to be true.

I don't get this comparison between the Dell XPS 15 and Surface book.
One is a 15 inch serious workstation with quad core cpu.
The other is 13 inch laptop for some productivity but you cant really do serious programming and CAD work on it without feeling it slows you down (dual core low voltage i7).

That is the exact spec'd laptop i was about to purchase until she said 5.5 hrs. I am waiting on a full review but i expected 7hrs moderate usage on the 4k.

My 4 year old laptop that cost me a WHOPPING $579 and it has a great trackpad, 6-7 hours of battery life, and an i5 processor. Don't know why new computer suck so much. Oh wait, profit for the manufacturers.

You really just said that the surface book 1500 base model will compare with the dell lol wtf. The surface book base model doesn't even have a dedicated gpu. To get similar specs to the 2000 xps 15 you would have to pay 2700 just for that lol. Fingers crossed my ass

I got the new XPS 13 9360 and had to disable the touchpad completely. it is possessed by the devil and acts on its own. When disabled everything works fine.
