Given, 40 dollars
(-25%)

25/100=0.25
40 x 0.25=10(total discount after calculation)
40-10=30

people like you tends to make math harder, that's why I failed maths subject in school because one of it is mainly because of the poor and not direct method of teaching... just straight to the point with just 3 steps...
