Just multiple 15 and 48 then divide the answer by 100 like this 15x48=720 720/100 is 7.2

Guys the easiest way is to do two steps:
1. Change the percent to a decimal by dividing it by 100
For example: Find 20% of 300
We take the percent which is 20% and divide it by 100 to get a decimal.
20/100= 0.20
2. Multiply this decimal by the number
0.20 x 300= 60

So, 20% of 300 is 60.

Second, move 2 decimal places from RIGHT to LEFT.
so the answer is 7.20 or 7.2
15% of 48 is 7.2

I just find 1% it’s a lot faster! Go 2 decimal points in and ✖️ it by the number you are finding out the percentage from (eg: 50%of 269 ‘ you would times 2.69 (because you go 2 decimal points in) times by 50 and you get your answer! ) hope this helps ! Xx

I do it like this: convert 15% to decimal form, which is 0, 15 than multiply 48 with 0.15 from which you’ll get 7.2

First u gotta divide 15 by 10
So the value is 1.5
And just multiply 1.5×4.8
Which is 7.2
