Child is super stimulated, doesn't want to go for a much needed nap? Go to the aquarium in Epcot. Watch fish for a while, they'll pass out.

While it's always good to have a plan, when going to a park with young kids also be flexible with your plan. Be prepared to skip something or change your schedule if your little one finds something they really want to do, like play in the water splash area, or try to get the sword out of the stone. Let them have fun, and not just on the rides!

I’m not a parent (but a professional aunt). My sister in law is an amazing mom! She always packs the kids outfits/backup outfits into ziplocks labeled with the day. Saves them a ton of time in the mornings so they can make rope drop!!

Why am I watching this? I don't have kids. Or a lover. God I'm lonely.

As somebody who does not have kids, I would like to put in a request to parents at the parks. Please remember that your kids are not the only people watching the nighttime shows. It is very difficult to watch the projection shows when you have your kid on your shoulders blocking the view of everybody behind you. I completely understand the need to pick your kid up so that they can see, but putting them on your shoulders adds two feet to your height. Same thing goes for those kids waving around their lightsabers and other large light up toys during the show. It blocks other people's view. Holding up cameras and cellphones above your head during the shows is also pretty annoying for people standing behind you, though that does not exclusively apply to people with kids. So in general, please be considerate of other people in the park.

I've been watching this channel for months. I feel like if I met AJ it would be like meeting a celebrity at this point. Currently planning my WDW/WWOHP trip for next year! Possible video idea. I don't really like rides that go upside down at any point and I'm not the best with hights. Could you do a video of things or rides that can be done at Disney world that aren't too bad for someone like me or stuff that can be done to still make the trip really fun?

My tip to WDW with kids (or even if it's adults only) is to ask the cast members if you feel something is missing. I've heard many people complain about WDW because a specific character wasn't available (or so they thought), or they couldn't find a ride their kids liked, or merchandise couldn't be located. The cast members are hired and trained because they ENJOY solving a problem you are facing so that your vacation is awesome. We have asked and received help every time. CAST MEMBERS ARE AMAZING!

If you have the little girls that want to go to Bibbity Bobbity Boutique, make those reservations that same day you make your dinner reservations. 180 days out. I don’t know if you can make it before that or not. The first time they went, I didn’t do it until a couple of months before and the only reservations were in the evening around dinner time. So they only got to walk around a short while before the park closed.

I am currently at WDW. My adult son came with his son and I had to go to first aid for the adult son.He had an injury that required an elastic bandage. The stores were out of them. First Aid gave us one to wrap his injury. Sometimes you need help with adult kids!

For the POV suggestion I would recommend 'Theme Park Worldwide'. They do off ride and on ride videos and many of the newer rides have videos dedicated to them, the vloggers go into detail about the rides and show everything you might want to know about them.

Never quite got how Rider Switch worked until now. We've generally used FastPass for rides where we figured we'd have to do that.

I suppose this goes along with "stick to the schedule" but in general, it's just worth remembering that if you've got young kids along, you're probably not going to be able to visit rides and attractions at the pace you'd do without. Kids get cranky and tired; they become hungry at inopportune times; they refuse to go on rides everyone thought they'd do. Scale your expectations down a little, don't insist on doing everything in the park to "get your money's worth", and you'll save yourself some avoidable anger and frustration. Young children will probably love it even if you're mostly just taking in the scenery.

Disney World is not a place to "wing it." Planning is a major factor. Those people who gave them a 1 star rating on Facebook or Yelp clearly didn't plan based on their experience.

You know you have always had smart tips, and no matter how many times in my life I have done disney, NOW i have kids which is newer, and there is a lot to learn... The minnie van tip is the best! Because I never thought to use them maybe for rope drop or something get in faster, and they have the car seat for my 3 year old ... good tip on the minnie vans too!

Agree with all of these tips. We found having our own stroller worked out better than renting. It was always at the end of the day, when we had to return the rental, was when we needed it most. With our own we could let them sleep and we would get some down time. Especially if we were staying somewhere we could walk back to or take a boat and didn't have to fold it up. Bill

You talk a lot about staying on property but what about other Orlando resorts? How does parking work when you aren’t staying at a Disney resort?

Love all your wonderful tips! My tip is to bring a frame matte for the characters to sign its a beautiful keepsake for your favorite Disney photo. Also we have used the same autograph book for 3 Disneyworld visits and plan to use it again in December. Just to have all the memories in one place.

I really love that T-Shirt that says "I'm Just Here For The Snacks", I really love that shirt so much.

As someone with 4 kids and planning an early 2020 trip, these tips are very helpful! I was just there in May with my spouse so at least this next time around I can focus more on the rides the kids want to do than the more “thrill” rides. My kids are not thrill seekers in the slightest and that’s ok! 🙂
