Had alot of expectations on Bahamut. And honestly? He even surpassed them! Music, gameplay, cutscenes...the most cinematic masterpiece experience I ever had in a videogame. I haven't played FFXIV that much but from what I knew about him in older games he was holding himself back until 16 came up. I saw two of his newer super attacks Tera and Zettaflare and was so shocked of where tf he pulled those attacks from. Prime Bahamut at it's finest

When I first saw Dion, I was sure that the Dominant of Light had a dark side and that he was not as heroic as he was portrayed.

And boy, was I so glad to be wrong. The man has a noble and brave heart.

I refer to him in the present tense, because I believe he survived somehow. We never actually see his body hit the ground. For all we know, he may have had enough energy to get into a Semi Primed state.

Now I've finished this game i can say Bahamut is 100% the greatest fight in the game, one of my favorite fights ever.

Definitely tops everything God of War has ever done, I mention GoW because that was kinda the "king" of spectacle boss fights. Well not anymore for sure.

I really didn't expect much of the fights of this game after beating titan, like how can something surpass the epicness of Titan's fight ? It truly was the best fight I have ever done in a video game. But then Bahamut showed me what epicness meant.


I'm gonna be more specific though to not get a war in the comment section x)
Titan's fight is still the best for me. At first I called it "the most epic fight" but after Bahamut's fight, I gave that title to the latter while considering Titan's fight as the most amazing one. The music, the space fight, the combination of both brothers... that was truly the definition of epicness

I may not care for Dion as the one who inherited Bahamut, or just as a character altogether, but this theme suits this dragon so well that it almost makes up for it. His design, attacks, and just all about bahamut by himself is amazing...but they gave him the worst dominant in return.
