Dude there is just something about this game, Joshua being built up as a sickly character, and when he turns into the Phoenix you immediately think he's gonna die so the moment becomes super dangerous and you question whether or not Joshua can survive the transformation. This game has me so invested into the characters, it's insane. Masterpiece game and soundtrack, no doubt about it.

Joshua is portrayed as such a weak and sickly character but as soon as he summons Phoenix he's the beacon of hope in said scene and just steals it completely

I love this. The same music as the prologue, but now it's the brothers against Bahamut instead of each other.

Here's what I kinda like about the thematics for this theme. It's first appearance was when it was battle between two brothers. And now, it plays for technically another battle between brothers.

With Anabella marrying Sylvestre, Dion effectively becomes their stepbrother.
