Had Hitler played the liberator card while invading the Soviet Union, he could had added an additional 10 million troops to his forces. There were many living in the Soviet Republics, who were more than willing to fight Stalin but Hitler, still drunk with his victory over the Allies, never realized the vastness of the Soviet Union. Had he tempered his ethnic cleansing, he very well might have won the war, even with two fronts.

This happy ending feels forced. To summarize:
- Russia is depopulated and re-settled by Germans, but still revolts
- They revolt because of conspiracy theories spread by American hackers on the 1990s internet
- American hackers manage to pull it off despite America and Germany having no contact (and presumably disjoint Internets)

0:01 - If Hitler won it wouldn't be that flag. That was all I needed to see.

"Argentina helps liberate Britain..." Now that's an alternate history worth pondering.

The ending is straight from a Disney movie ''and they all lived happily ever after''
In reality the German empire would have been the World's No 1 technological powerhouse, with Japan following closely behind. You only have to look at today's Japan and Germany, the only thing holding them back is lack of resources.

when thinking of what could have been different through the war, the world truly was at a crossroads. The present couldn't be any different. The idea of what the world would look like is as fascinating as it is terrifying.

Saw a classified interview with Marshal Zhukov from 1969, which can be found on the net, where he said that the road to the center of Moscow and the Kremlin was wide open and that it was only pure coincidence that the Germans did not enter, Then they had probably captured Stalin and other senior Politburo members who had not yet decided to leave the city. he said that there were several times he heard Stalin and Beria talking about making peace and ceding the Western Soviet Union to Hitler, So many people don't understand how close it was that Germany could have de facto won.

As an indigenous European, every city I visit from London to Rome, it's hard to think with the benefit of hindsight that it was worth the loss of 17 million lives to have the continent undermined and destroyed by savages 80 years later.

14:55 that is not the Dutch East Indies, that is India. The Dutch East Indies is what we now call Indonesia.

I find most of this to be very interesting and logical perspective on the classic “what if”…the one point I mainly disagree with is your optimism the internet is such a positive game changer to fight authoritarianism in this alternative timeline. I feel if what you’re suggesting were to be realized in the theoretical timeline it would be realized in our timeline, and it’s arguably not(primary example being china). Germany and Japan in our timeline have been the birthplace of a ton a advanced technology, and much like China in our timeline, I’m pretty sure that Germany and Japan in this theoretical timeline would become masters of censorship and misinformation campaigns in the digital…especially with their decades of experience leading into the digital age.

The minor success the internet has played in causing resistance movements in the modern day is in large part thanks to the US government intelligence agencies, which are primarily at their size and strength because of their jump started birth during WW2…so if the USA is never involved in WW2 like in this timeline, it would be reasonable to assume the US government intelligence agencies grow at a far slower rate, so by the 21st century they wouldn’t have nearly enough strength to intervene in local/foreign affairs compared to German and Japanese intelligence agencies which would be massive as they are a necessity to keep stability within their empires.

I enjoyed the video, but there's one problem I have. At the end, it talks of a 10 to 15 year war between US and its allies against the German Empire, but earlier in the video it said both sides had nukes. Seems hard to imagine a 10 to 15 year war between the two sides without one of the sides resorting to nukes, and prompting the other side to respond in kind.

I like how the show Man in the High Castle presents it. If Germany beat America to the Bomb, they would have 100% used it on the United states and forced a surrender. And Japan would have pressed from the other side. And the Cold war happens between Germany and Japan instead, being the last two world powers standing.

You are using the wrong flag for Nazi Germany. You used the Reichsflagge or empire flag. Hitler "retired it" in 1935 I think, and introduced the well-known, black swastika in a white circle on a red background, in doing so keeping the colours of the original flag.
