Worked a feedlot in Idaho back in 1970, after getting out of Marines.i was pretty hardcore ( i thought) but cows were tougher.Hard work.thats when i decided to take up trucking.

My thoughts on this video. 1. Must be disappointing to have a NEW chopper and it’s broke down already. Should be under warranty, If they have parts on hand. 2. Guess old tires never die, they just end up at silage pits. 3. Been thru Ida Grove a number of times when driving for Schuster. You don’t see much of the town on hwy 175. Always impressed with the stonework on the buildings. Town is bigger than what I thought. Really enjoying the farm videos. Take care!!!

Suring harvest season dad and worked from early morning until late evening. It'g to know how other folks live. I hope that makes some folks appreciate the life they live if satisfactory. Later in life I worked rotating shifts sure maqde me appreciate how other folks worked and lived. I know you appreciate your life just a touch more now that you've experienced 'farming'. Trucking and farming is definitely two different types of work farming is hard on the body my family still lives and breaths farming and then it's me I'm still Trucking and been doing it for 34 years now so I now how you feel I help the family out when I'm home it's a hard life but rewarding at times.
