Well, it is November 10 2021 and it has now been exactly one year since I made this video and I'm happy to report this product has continued to work flawlessly. I'm very happy with my purchase.

New features like "auto stop" at street lights, should Always be default OFF. Let the driver decide if he wants it or not, don't force it on him.

Dude! When you start to pry on that dashboard, my heart stalled!😁 I guess that you should tape up the top piece also to prevent scratching on it!

I disabled Start/Stop by pressing, and holding, the "A" button for min. 6 seconds. It worked on my previous Ford Focus (2012) and similarly on my current Focus (2016)

Good stuff bruh. Just one tiny suggesting from me (an ex audio/video installer in vehicles), you should also tape the black plastic area of the dash unit so you don't get the scrapes on the like the one you got. Another thing is before you zip tie everything in and push everything back in and close it all up you should first test the unit to make sure it works because if there are any issues or if you have a defective unit you didn't have to pry everything back open again to undo the install. The only other thing I can say is I'm not sure if that extra piece of wire hanging off was in inline fuse but it surely looked like it. You should also check the fuse to make sure you got a good fuse in there. Its such a possibility to have to take everything back out just got the fuse that might have been overlooked. Now if it wasn't a fuse then please disregard that last part. Lol.

With that said you did a great job installing this. In the beginning I was life DAMN THEY CHARGING YOU 100 BUCKS FOR A LITTLE INTERFACE TO ELIMINATE A BUTTON??? But when I saw the actual product you can tell they spent a lot of time on quality. Man you just can't beat that Made In The USA stuff I swear it. Just perfect craftsmanship on the product. Even the cover was quality. Scs yeah it may have one cost then less than 15 bucks to make that thing and now they asking 100 bucks but if you think about the engineering they had to do in order to make that plus the time of producing so the videos for so the different car models it makes total sense. I would rather pay 100 bucks for a quality Made In The USA product or this than to get a cheap 25 Dollar knockoff from China or Taiwan that might or might not work properly.

I have a 2019 Pacifica and what I did was I unplugged the hood sensor, took the sensor out of its holder and then plugged the sensor back in and I zipped tied the sensor off to the side where it wouldn’t get pushed down by the hood. Now the start/stop is “Not ready” because it thinks the hood is open. No dash lights saying the hood is open either.
I took a test drive and it did not shut the engine off at all. Disables the feature even without pressing the factory “off” button.
Everything else works, even the remote start still functions. I tested it personally.
Hope this helps anyone else. 😃

If your vehicle has a factory trailer electrical connector, purchase a trailer connector tester and plug it into the trailer connector and leave it plugged in. The vehicle thinks a trailer is connected and disables the start/stop feature.

The best "poor mans auto stop disabler" is disconnecting the negative cable from the smaller aux battery. An orange light for stop/start persists, but you get used to it in short order. There are no other side effects aside from that. Remote start still works. Also, this prevents the aux battery from being able to drain the main battery.

I use one on my car, love it. Be careful taking trim apart, it can be damaged slightly, lol.

This function is needed to meet the epa ave milage requirement set for each year. Soon it will be 40 mpg and we will be driving 1100 cc cars with turbo. Then it is only hybrids and e cars.
