Hi sir, It has been a while. I had to come back to thank you for your highly insightful videos especially for the practical exams. It was really disappointing to miss out on paper 2 because of the terrible weather here a while ago, but I think it's safe to say (no exaggeration) that I aced paper 3... I came out of the exam thinking about any of the possible mistakes I could have made, but to my surprise there were most-likely none upon discussion with my friends because I was able to finish the paper about 40 minutes before the timer ended so I was able to go through the whole paper again and regain approximately 10 marks I was close to losing. Theory on the other hand was a different story when I completely messed up on a question about pilot and parallel or something along those lines (it was a systems topic which I'm a bit horrible at) and then the other questions were alright. I'm only hoping to get over 50% for this paper -but I would have done worse if it weren't for your tips you gave in this video. Would you know how they make the considerations for students who missed out on paper 2 when handing out the grades?

On a final note, this is probably the last ICT related thing I will do at school and maybe the last time I will need your help, so thank you again for your support with these videos, there are still thousands of students moving on who will need your help too, so please do provide your support at least for the next few more years!

hi sir,
i have a question/doubt from the march 2024 paper 12.
Compare a test strategy with a test plan. Your answer should include similarities and differences. It is for 6 marks.
can u answer it as in the coursebook, everything is messed up.

edit: heres my ans
test strategy is after the test while test plan is before.
both test data
test strategy is more detail than the test plan.
the test strategy shows the actual outcome, while the test plan shows what is expected.
the test plan shows redimial actions taken but the test stragety doesnt.
both test the entire system.

Hello, sir, I have a question. How holistic is the grading for the theory paper? Do examiners rigidly follow the marking scheme or is it a bit flexible? Also, is the Hodder textbook good enough for ICT Theory for 2024 examinations?

sir at 9:40 in the video you mentioned we are not supposed to write in bullet points, but can we write like this for example in online shopping

Advantages: faster as it saves time to travel to the store, saves money by ordering from home rather than travel to the store and buy items....
Disadvantages: Requires a stable internet connection. possible for hackers spying upon your personal data while you proceed to checkout....

please suggest, and if a question has two marks for mentioning the points:
"Saves time to travel to store"
"Saves money to travel to store" what if we compare both statements as "saves time and money to travel to the store and then order" will this still give me 2 marks?

I didn't watch the entire video but I just want a quick answer. Case 1) if I answered a question and I just said something correct that shows understanding but it's not in the mark scheme do I get the mark? And my definition for a point to be correct is that it's only necessary that it's logically correct and not necessarily having key words from the mark scheme or the point itself to even be on the mark scheme.
Case 2) what if according to my definition of a correct point the point is in the mark scheme but has no keywords

Can a singular statement be marked as two marking scheme points? like If i were to combine two marking scheme points into one statement while maintaining the keywords, would i get both marks, or only one?
