No one ever says, "A good God wouldn't allow MY evil."

Imagine if God didn't give us Free Will? We would feel like we've been forced to worship him.

Dying without faith in Jesus is like dying without soul insurance.

If God isn’t real, then why are we talking about Him in such a serious way? Do we argue the existence of Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy in like fashion? Wouldn’t we just laugh off His existence in like fashion? The moon, the sun, the stars, and all of the elements of planet Earth convict us everyday. The only difference between Christians and unbelievers is that unbelievers spend all of their lives trying to explain away those convictions.

Justice without Love is tyranny. Love without Liberty is slavery. Liberty without Justice is insanity. Justice is the force by which truth is protected and preserved. Love is the force by which truth has meaning and substance. Liberty is the force by which truth is put into action. Justice becomes injustice because of lies. Love becomes apathy because of selfishness. Liberty becomes insanity without a standard.

The differences between the historical God and the legendary Lex:

Lex Luthor is power-hungry and self-righteous, and he fancies himself as a savior.
God/Jesus is all-powerful and righteous, and He is actually Lord and Savior.

I was reading some apologetic counter arguments to my dad from the cross examined app on my phone the other day in his truck on the way back from a golf game. He turned off the radio after a little bit so maybe something made him think! This bald gentlemen also made him say "hmm..🤔" out loud one day lol. PLEASE pray for my dad's salvation for he is still lost! Thank you and God bless all who read this in Jesus's mighty name.

I myself am not Christian. But I have to admit. With each one of these videos I watch.

In particular Frank Turek and Give me an answer... I feel it is harder and harder not to believe what they believe. It really isn’t close to “people who believe in angels”... there is a lot of solid points and evidence to consider and I love it. Much love and to all the people of the faith. Hold it high and don’t lose it.

We need religion ESPECIALLY in today’s world... and especially if it’s true.

Was just watching the lex luthor clip not too long ago, and was wondering how would an apologist respond to this. Low and behold! The Lord works in mysterious ways

Ask any parent and they will tell you that letting your kids do anything they want is not a sign of love. You have to set boundaries. And sure God gave us 10 commandments but none of them said "don't enslave people." For the thousands of years that slavery was in practice, God could've popped in to say "this is wrong." But instead, he let the practice go on even through today in certain countries. God thought that it was so important for two men not to lie together that he called it abominable, but taking people from their families and shipping them halfway across the globe to be property for life was just fine in God's book - literally.

God loves you so much and he wants you to freely choose to love him back. If you don't, he will light you on fire. So, remember boys and girls, you are free to choose.

Hello. I am an atheist. I define atheism as suspending acknowledgement of the existence of gods until sufficient evidence can be presented. My position is that *_I have no good reason to acknowledge the existence of gods._*

And here is the evidence as to why I currently  hold to such a position.

1. I personally have never observed a god.
2. I have never encountered a person whom has claimed to have observed a god.
3. I know of no accounts of persons claiming to have observed a god that were willing or able to demonstrate or verify their observation for authenticity, accuracy, or validity.
4. I have never been presented a valid logical argument which also employed sound premises that lead deductively to a conclusion that a god(s) exists.
5. Of the 46 logical syllogisms I have encountered arguing for the existence of a god(s), I have found all to contain multiple fallacious or unsubstantiated premises.
6. I have never observed a phenomenon in which the existence of a god was a necessary antecedent for the known or probable explanation for the causation of that phenomenon.
7. Several proposed (and generally accepted) explanations for observable phenomena that were previously based on the agency of a god(s), have subsequently been replaced with rational, natural explanations, each substantiated with evidence that excluded the agency of a god(s). I have never encountered _vice versa._
8. I have never experienced the presence of a god through intercession of angels, divine revelation, the miraculous act of divinity, or any occurrence of a supernatural event.
9. Every phenomena that I have ever observed has *_emerged_* from necessary and sufficient antecedents over time without exception. In other words, I have never observed a phenomenon (entity, process, object, event, process, substance, system, or being) that was created _ex nihilo_ - that is instantaneously came into existence by the solitary volition of a deity.
10. All claims of a supernatural or divine nature that I have encountered have either been refuted to my satisfaction, or do not present as falsifiable.

ALL of these facts lead me to the only rational conclusion that concurs with the realities I have been presented - and that is the fact that there is *_no good reason_* for me to acknowledge the existence of a god.

I have heard often that atheism is the denial of the Abrahamic god. But denial is the active rejection of a substantiated fact once credible evidence has been presented. Atheism is simply withholding such acknowledgement until sufficient credible evidence is introduced. *_It is natural, rational, and prudent to be skeptical of unsubstatiated claims, especially extraordinary ones._*

I welcome any cordial response. Peace.

This topic reminds me on my question about "Why God put the tree of knowledge knowing the good and evil. He knew that tree may lead to introduce adam and eve about what is good and evil" when I was a teenage kid. Now I realized that's because God gave them free will to do whatever they wanted but he also warn them not to touch the tree of knowledge. Free will lead us to into possibilities.

The moment someone attempts to justify immoral actions (god sitting back doing nothing; god performing evil actions; god commanding evil actions), is the moment he loses the argument. If someone tells me, "I know my actions SEEM evil, but if you give me a few hours to explain, you'll see I'm right, " that's code for "I don't have a leg to stand on." Actions that are moral don't take hours to explain why they are moral. The same goes for immoral actions. There might not always be a right answer, but that doesn't make the immorality any more moral. It was just immoral, and we must acknowledge that fact and move on. We need to stop justifying evil.
