“You call yourself the Joker, and i’m not allowed to laugh?”

Poor Super Man, he was so genuine too 😆😅

"Being Superman doesn't mean I'm *greater* than anyone. But it does mean I'm *better* than *you* ."
Man, it's refreshing to see a writer who really gets Superman.

'I stand for something - a better future, where nobody needs a Superman. What do *you* stand for?'

The idea of Superman being kind but definitely not “nice” is an interpretation that needs to be explored more.

I love how for the majority of the comic, Supes treated Joker like, well, a joke. But in the very last few panels you find out that internally, he took him VERY seriously. I love that sort of writing

Superman: A test huh? Well since we are doing this, here, have mine.

Jesus Christ. “Any writer could write you, any actor could play play you. All they need to do is is make up their own version and people will applaud them. But NO ONE will ever applaud YOU” that is by far the most brutal dissection of the Jokers entire being that I’ve ever heard and it is from Superman, and not even from Injustice.

Batman: "joker's a psychopath, he planned all this. It's all a mind game."
Superman: "it's not that deep bro."

What people don't notice is that in front of the Joker, he acts like the man is no threat, and idiot and laughs. But the moment the Joker isn't in front of him, Superman acknowledges what kind of threat Joker actually is...

So Superman didn't actually think that Joker was a joke, but instead realized that the best way to stop the man was to instead ruin his fun. By doing that, Joker no longer had any interest in going to Metropolis...

As Superman stated, you shouldn't indulge the Joker...

This is a perfectly written Superman. He’s like that dude who can fight but is a constant diffuser. But push too far and he’s the scariest character in comics.

When the writers actually like Superman.

Love the part where Superman calls Joker Batman's 'playmate'. Even he sees no logic in even letting that guy breathe.

This is just Superman vs the average Superman hater💀🙏

"Batman has a no-kill rule"
"I'm not Batman"

the fact that Superman throws Batman's ideologies back at Joker just to tell him "I could kill you if I wanted to" is genius. sure to rattle someone who's so confident that the hero won't just outright kill him

Man, Superman is so chill. Why can’t the movies ever capture his calmness? He’s just a SuperDude.

So nice to see a superman thats both incredibly patient/smart, but also doesnt screw around or let people treat him like an idiot

Superman: "I don't have a code. I just don't generally kill people."

The "monsters" that Superman fights. Yeah, nobody, not even the law, is going to argue with HIM if it comes to that.

A nice little reminder of why the Injustice universe is just that: an alternate universe. 99 times out of 100, Joker will fail at threatening or corrupting Superman. Not only because Clark is genuinely smart and clever enough to not fall for the Joker’s crap, but also because Superman acknowledges that 1 in 100 chance exists. This is why he shows up at the bat cave later on to lecture Batman. Bruce of all people should have known that setting up social experiments involving the Joker is playing with fire and that he should have known better.
