Thank goodness i found your channel! My late husband was a plumber, electrician, carpenter, mechanic, welder, etc. He fixed everything. But when my toilet started leaking, i decided i could find out how to fix it. Thats when i found your channel. Im disabled but my adult daughter and i watched your video on how to fix a leaky toilet. Daughter got it done in no time. You explained each step to take. Clear and precise. We cannot thank you enough sir. We're loyal followers of yours now. Thanks again! 😊

I love how at 5:51 he says " make sure you just hand tighten it. be very very careful, porcelain is very fragile" as he is tightening it down with a half inch socket wrench.

This is a good video presentation about how to deal with a common toilet leak. If you are ever planning on installing a new toilet or you need to otherwise replace a toilet, consider buying a toilet version that is one piece with the tank and bowl made as a single unit. These are available from American Standard and others. This type eliminates any chance of leaks between the tank and the bowl.

Awesome! Thank you for taking the time to share this DIY fix. It helped me fix my leak! My local plumbing companies quoted me a flat rate between $125-$150 I saved $134 after purchasing the kit and installing it myself. Once again thank you for sharing!

Thank you for an incredibly helpful tutorial. I was able to replace all of the nuts, bolts, gaskets and wax ring on my own.. first time ever! Saved me from using a plumber. Saved me a lot money, but mostly very satisfied knowing I was able to do without paying someone to do. Thank you!

THANK YOU!!! The step at 5:51 is what I was missing as what I had taken off didn't have the washer/nut placed there. Couldn't figure out why there was still a leak after following the instructions from the company I purchased it from. I appreciate this video.

I ended up replacing the big gasket, long screws, etc. You explained and showed everything so it was super simple for a novice (ME) to follow. Thank you so much!

Thank you! Followed this and fixed it myself. Longest and hardest part was cleaning the tank and holes around the base. The rest was pretty straight forward. Saved me a nice chunk of $$$. Plumbers in my area don't come out for less than $200. Greatly appreciate the step by step and options.

I don't wanna seem, you know, pushy, but you have a drastically relaxing voice. You should definitely make more videos. It's just plain old fashioned calm as hell and that's important to me for some bizarre reason. Thank you for this video. You're awesome.

I use a turkey baster for most stuff, makes a decent cheap syringe. It's not airtight but if you can transfer the liquid fast enough, it works great
