step:

1) turn car on

2) put foot on brake and put handbrake down

3) put stick in "r" and reverse

4) put it in "d" and drive.

hahaha... you're funny man. The first time I drove an automatic I slammed on the brakes thinking of it as a clutch, needless to say my co passengers were shocked. Even experienced drivers need to be very careful when driving an automatic for the very first time because pressing the clutch by your left leg has become an involuntary action.
