It would've definitely helped. Putting Batman in the title would've given it a $100 million boost, at minimum.

Should have been called: "Batman: The Flashpoint Paradox", both to confuse and infuriate comic book fans.

I genuinely believe that changing the title would’ve helped. Probably still would’ve flopped, but nowhere near as bad. Calling it “Batman”, followed by a subtitle, would’ve been a better move. Batman is a much, much bigger character/brand.

Even retitling it to simply “Flashpoint” would’ve maybe been a better sell.
Who knows. The general public has no interest in the DCEU, thus why the reboot is happening.

I just think they should have leaned into flashpoint more. For example, why is zod the main threat here and not the Atlantis vs Amazon war? Barry seeing two of his closest friends and teammates trying to kill each other would have been much more compelling than a villain he never even met

The home release version will have a special pointing mode, which is great news for fans of pointing at stuff.

Judging solely from the trailers I think the best ways to not have this movie bomb… would have been to either have Cavill back as Superman (did we need Supergirl in this?), not having Ezra Miller play two versions of The Flash or not releasing the movie at all.

Anyone who’s had internet access knows how much of a problem Miller was being and yet Waners decided to push along anyway.
