A/C Pro® Gauge Diagnostics

Показать описание
While there are many reasons your A/C may not be functioning properly, one of the most common is that it has lost refrigerant. If you’re planning to recharge your car’s A/C by replacing the refrigerant, A/C Pro recommends using a gauge style dispenser because of its diagnostic capabilities vs. other dispensers.
The first benefit to having a gauge is to diagnose your A/C’s issue.
The second benefit of using a gauge is that it provides a PSI readout of the pressure in the system
The next time you need a recharge, consider buying a kit with our diagnostic gauge style dispensers.

I used A/C pro growing on 3 years ago and my A/C is still going strong.

What if the gauge is fluctuating high to low (inside the green zone)? Not reading a steady reading like you are showing in the video. Temperature outside is 90F, A/C is blowing 82F air, your gauge is bouncing around when hooked up as instructed. Bouncing from the lowest point in the Green Zone to about 3/4 of the up in the Green Zone. I looked on line and some people say this is due to low pressure levels... You say nothing about that here.

Can you explain why this gauge indicated 60-150 PSI as "red" without any relationship to the ambient temperature? Other gauges sold by AC Pro have a temperature feature. With this one, how can I be sure I'm getting the proper fill level?

You started the car and switched the AC on before connecting the gauge????

Why didn't you explain the yellow section of the gauge.

Dear technicians, I measured my ac reading using ac pro gauge after changing my evaporator coil and I followed the instructions carefully the reading was about 50 psi at the end of green zone. Last night I made another measurement and the gauge reading was in the middle of green zone about 40 psi. Could it be a sign of possible leaking?

What if the gauge on the tool (hose) stops working ?? Why would this gauge stop working ?

What does it mean when it’s in the yellow area? I see several people have asked, but has gotten no response.

Hi, I don't know if you're still responding to comments, but I can't find an answer no matter where I look

My mechanic recently changed out the refrigerate hose and compressor after it exploded. The new system, when checking with the exact same gauge is deep in the yellow.

Did he add too much freon? Or is there another issue?

Or is it fine if it's in the yellow and will the pressure drop slowly?

A response would be appreciated

With my car the Freon wouldn’t load into system until car was turned off. It all unloaded at the same time. I then had to bleed it multiple times to get back into the green.

I don't remember the brand gauge I have. I do know it's not the a/c pro. When I hook it up the gauge will be in the red while compressor is off. When compressor kicks on the gauge will drop to the blue section. Is it normal to be in the red while compressor is off?

I purchased the APC410 at Walmart...Do I need an adapter to use self sealing cans? Nothing seems to leave the can into my system.

My gauge is reading red when it is not even attached to service port on car and needle doesn’t move whatsoever. Is the gauge stuck?

I need answers asap, when the ax is on, 2010 civic lx, it’s around 30. When I turn off my ac it creeps up to 130 ( in the middle at the red. My engine almost stalls every time when the compressor is activated. HELP. Is my system overcharged.

Just got the A/C Pro with the digital gauge. After filling for two 15 second increments, the reading was in the green range so I stopped. Air was still coming out warm but the AC system is making a new hissing sound. The gauge is still showing a reading of 28 even when not hooked up to the car and after turning off and back on again. How do I reset the gauge to zero to verify what my A/C pressure is?

My AC gauge is now stuck in the red with the can screwed into it. Surely this is faulty?

I just bought this product from Walmart, but when I tried on Honda CRV 2018 but not able to connect the Gauge to the 'L' connecter in the first place!!! I found under the hood "r1234yf refrigerant" to use for Honda CRV 2018!! is it the same thing? Looks like it's not compatible, so thinking to return it.
