Sounds like the parents raised a spoiled brat and this is the consequences.

I moved back home in my 30’s, had a plan, paid them rent, saved my money, bought a house, moved out and got married. IF you’re going to do it there’s a way to do it and a way NOT to do it. I have. great relationship with my parents and chose to do it to save money. I wouldn’t stay in their house and disrespect them though. That wouldn’t work.

I have a friend that is like this. He is 36 and is still living in a false perception of reality where his parents still have to support him. Despite being educated, once he graduated from college and had to start taking care of himself he reverted back to an angry 18 year old and couldn't function. It's a prime example of Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

Wow the delusion and self entitlement is insane. It’s not your house! It being the address on your license means nothing. So because the have a home you just get to break in? This is just disgusting. Grow tf up.

Living at home with parents in itself is not frowned upon…….stealing from your own parents and whining about your parents not waiting on you IS frowned upon!!!

unfortunately they raised him by giving him no boundaries and it shows . They enable him and enable and enable and now they are sick of it . They can legally evict him if they wanted to …

He will never grow up. They owe him. He is the victim, just ask him.

Parents escaping from their kid! How bad can it get.

Curious how the parents have allowed this sort of behavior for so long. I get not wanting to kick your kid out but it is far past time to show some tough love and get him out of there.

He is exhausting and I’m sure he has been that way all his life.

And parents today can see the results of being their kid’s friend and giving them whatever they want, but still raise their kids the same way.

Unfortunately there's a lot of people like this I moved out at 19 and love it

As an Indian this is all backwards. Our parents would literally love for us to never leave home at all 😂

They raised him to be dependent on them. He will behave as such and they shouldn't magically expect him to change given the environment they raised him in. They didn't bother giving him the skills and willpower to fend off for himself and problem-solve his personal life, so he will inevitably do everything he can to crawl back under their wing. Both sides are in the wrong.
