I'm a beginner and I'm fat. I find bending and stretching extremely painful and hard. But have been trying these exercises for the past 4 days. Been doing half or less of some of those exercise sets. My body is still trying to breathe through. Hoping in a month of training, I'd lose my weight considerably to begin some advanced steps. Thanks dude!

Sadly, I didn't train Karate in my club for about 4 months now. Almost every small sport club is closed because of the coronavirus. So I decided to take up training again and your exercises are a great help :D Osu!

Those steps are so good.I'm from Bangladesh. I'm also a martial art girl. My Sensi also told me some of steps like you and to do like this at home whenever you have a smaller place. Give more videos like this that's really helpful 😇

Hey Jesse! I used to do karate when I was little and after a lot of time around late 2021 i got a surge of motivation to start training karate once again after watching cobra kai. Funny enough this was the first video i stumbled across and I started watching your videos like a madman, learning techniques, the history of karate, kata and even some kobudo! After that i added some boxing to my arsenal and started training in kickboxing for some months and ironically enough your vlogs with your brother about his fights inspired me to start training MMA after previously having anxiety about joining the MMA class since being a striker, I didn't know any grappling at all. Thank you for helping younger me build a solid foundation for my martial arts journey and thank you for all the good memories!

Hey Jesse, thanks for the training at home idea. I'm actually a ITF Taekwon-Do pratictioner and all those exercises can be applied for it too 😀

Not only for Karate, but also Taekwondo. I've been practicing Taekwondo for 12 years now, and this is ideal for me as well.

One problem I have with the dojo being closed is that I get lazy.

Thank you for this, we are using the time to repair Dojo floor and do other work when other students cant train, i am loving everything i am seeing and some we now do in our Dojo. Look forward to putting the kids through all this when classes return :) As for myself, being disabled, this is highly challenging for sure. My battle is internal over physical even with that is ruins, so i enjoy all of this to teach complete body, mind soul. My Sensei loves i find things and bring them to our students.

Me as an introvert is actually enjoying the quarantine bc now i got time to work on myself properly! It does suck that training is cancelled tho.. But these exercises are rlly great even tho i practice a slightly different martial arts (shaolin kempo) I realized that i rlly need to work on strength in my legs for kicks, i can kick high but not hold them. Thanks for the video!
