I spent a whooping 5 months rehabbing my wrist last year, because I didn't give it time to heal, so I kept re-injuring it while doing handstand practice, but it's such a stupid approach, because as you said you can always do other things that don't irritate the injury. It's not the end of the world to take a 5-6 week break from your normal routine!

I wish you a speedy recovery :-)

Sorry to see your injury.  I had a similar injury end of last year, to my large toe, mine even happened in daily living activity, not training, but also through a moment of carelessness, and put a damper on lower body training for more than two months.  Always appreciate your rational approach.  Take care.

Sorry to hear of your injury and I hope you have a speedy recovery. However finding a silver lining to every cloud it's inspiring to see how you are still working around injury and not using it as an excuse to stop, all the best in getting better!

Goddammit! You too, Daniel!? No matter, you are a smart and courageous man! Consider it as a challenge to use only one wrist on whatever you plan to exercise. People close to you are key for support and psychological well being and living.
Stop thinking about what if! Useless. Negativity doesn't help. Learned it on my own.

Will it, think it, see it to heal fast and it is going to. Eliminate all possibility of inflammation coming from foods or drinks (if possible). (I would be skeptic of certain pharmaceutical drugs.) Also, take into consideration positioning of the injured area and anything you might do to naturally improve blood flow to the injury in order to help healing.

The psychological test is not easy, though not so hard if you choose to see it so. It is meant to strengthen yourself not make you weaker or prone to accidents. I had plenty of injuries and I still have multiple health issues which certainly can depress heavily anyone. Above all encouragement only came and comes from myself. They all pass, they heal, I want them to, for I love physical education too much to leave it aside, it is part of me and makes me alive! And so shall for you, Daniel!

Kind regards, friend, brother!

Hands down one of the most dangerous parts of a workout is at the end when your fatigued and tired. You just finished doing a tough set and forget its important to keep your concentration till the weights or body is back in a safe position. Wishing you a speedy recovery man

A recent subscriber, I have to say you have my best wishes for a good and proper recovery. I've been through something very similar to this but over a much longer timescale - and I can say that with time and consistency in rehab you can get back to how you were pre-injury. All the best.

Thank you for this video Daniel.  I injured my knee a while ago and thought I will just let it rest but unfortunately the pain comes and goes.  I should have went to the doctor as soon as it happened but I didn't and now thanks to this video I am going to go as soon as he can see me.  Thank you again.

Man so sorry to hear that - been a fan for a very long time and the video was tough to look at. Love the positive attitude - very inspirational - with that mindset you'll come out stronger mentally and physically ;). Hope you keep posting videos and show us how you tackle this journey/challenge, many of us have gone through this and I'll be looking to gain some pointers on how you approach it.
