As an experienced fish keeper it's obvious as to why great whites don't make good aquarium fish. You'd think the aquarium owners would have the same knowledge if they're trying to keep a large aquarium exhibit

Sharks have been found to be very easily stressed. A drop in breeding rates of hammerheads has been blamed squarely on increased human invasion of their breeding grounds because they're considered safer to swim with.

I like to see aquariums that connect to the ocean and just have a glass free roam kind of thing for the fish and sharks in the ocean that way we don't have to capture them and put them in tanks

What amazes me about these animals is they're constantly growing new teeth. Their gums keep rotating, providing new rows of teeth. Then there's how they push their entire jaws out. It looks majestic. Then there's the weird fact that every shark exists because they ate their siblings.

I really like the idea of glass tanks blending into the ocean, where fish and sharks can swim freely in their natural environment. Such a space both preserves nature and provides a wonderful experience without confining them in cramped cages!

The sharks escaped, likely in stolen trucks since nobody saw them flopping away. Now they hide in the woods, only coming out to attack lonely drivers when they get hungry. Landsharks are so deadly not a single one of their victims has lived to tell the tale; only the occasional license plate found in a shark's stomach lets us know what happened.

However, the development of methods for caring for wild animals, combined with strict regulations on their keeping, could help improve the situation. This would open up the opportunity for great white sharks to be kept in large aquariums, for educational and conservation purposes.

Love Monterey bay. The aquarium is only the start. There are enough things to do you can plan a week trip and still have a few things to do. Unless you think of each type of fish you can charter a boat for just in a few shops on the fisherman’s warf. It’s like a theme park entry 😂. Many boats professionally charter trips for the public. Even private. Hell you could ask any boat owner, most in California like money…. They get extremely nice at that point 😂
