There are generally no hidden ingredients or weird processes associated with your average fruit or vegetable. You bite into a banana, and you know it’s a banana. But manufactured and processed foods are different, and some have pretty shocking ingredients and processes. From Pringles to red food, here are 20 foods you’ll never buy again after knowing how they are made.

Any processed food that contains Natural Flavor & what it is exactly is not telling the public the truth.

I know I'll never eat any Campbell's soup after delivering vegetable oil there. They told me where to hook up and pump it off, they showed me a dirty pipe laying on the ground with the cap off, that anything could've crawled into it. I haven't knowingly ate any Campbell's soup since.
Now chocolate manufacturers are meticulous about food safety, Hersey's, M&M Mar's, and several others. Smucker's are really great about food safety. I don't know about the ones that were mentioned, especially honey, but of course anything outside of the United States that anyone eats is a risk anyways.

I always thought they got gum from a special type of tree. I guess they have now gone from natural to artificial (synthetic) for this. "Originally, chewing gum was made from the latex sap of the sapodilla tree (native to Central America). This sap was called chicle. Other natural gum bases may be used, such as sorva and jelutong." I guess it all changed after WWII. Marshmallows used to contain part of the marsh mallow plant. "A confection made from the root since ancient Egyptian times evolved into today's marshmallow treat" "The root was boiled and eaten as a vegetable by the Greeks, Romans, and Egyptians. It is mentioned as being eaten in times of famine in the Bible. It has also been used medicinally for just as long. (The name “Althea, ” in fact, comes from the Greek “althos, ” which means “healer”)."

I'm happy to report that I've been enjoying peanuts, peanut butter Ramen Noodles, Coca Cola and Red Bull for my entire life (to name just a few) - and just about any snack or beverage I so choose to enjoy (even an adult beverage now and then). Personally speaking however, I'm not fond of bottled water, believing it's nothing but a scam. And somehow...amazingly enough, I'm still here. As a matter of fact, I'm about to have a Coke and a handful of peanuts. That being said, Happy New Year Everyone and bon apetit - in terms of what you choose to eat or drink. 😊😊👍👍

Basically, if something tastes good it’s probably very bad for you.

#1. Coca Cola original has sugar in it…

After that eye-opening insight, I can’t wait for the next episode!
Maybe about the dangers of getting wet feet at the coast if you walk the wrong way?

We ate this stuff for years. My mom lived to 92. If it worked for her then it should be okay for me.

I remember reading awhile back that if it wasn't for the PHOSPHORIC acid we wouldn't be able to consume all the sugar in a can of COCA-COLA.

Anything that is processed in a production line has so many risks, of bad ingredients, production hygiene, transportation time, packaging hazards and unless you grow your own food and manage the location, the methods to grow, the fertilizer you use, and basically become a farmer we are all stuck eating crap 😢
We actually lived in Italy 4 years and found their food standards above any other place we ever lived (mostly Europe and USA), they also plant their own vegetables, even those who live in apartments. 😊
