I'm glad this guy made this summary. I don't have time for a 52-hour long movie.

imagine having the final scene of the proposal where he drops on his knee but it is just a hallucination and he wakes up on the mine again.

That twist really got me good, it's impressive how he still managed to have such great aim to take out two guys using a sniper after 40+ hours without rest.

I don’t think there’s such thing as a “non life threatening limb loss” when you’re alone in the middle of a desert

kinda insane that they were able to make a decent movie about a guy literally standing in the same place for the rest of the movie

It's nice to know that it's a real person's voice, not computer generated

I may kinda be going insane but I started crying at the end because it feels like this movie is actually a metaphor for moving on past a tragedy and he was to afraid to let go and take a step forward in life and move on, and the old guy is like “you never know it could be dangerous but there is a chance that everything will be okay and you did this all for nothing. Since he was scared to take his foot off. This thought occurred to me after the wife called

stepping off and realizing theres no mine was so powerful. i cry thinking of how much time ive wasted stagnant and hurting instead of taking risks. Really shows how youre only in control of your life if you move on

The fact that he didn’t dig a bit to see if it was actually a mine, or maybe just a defunk mine is actually funny. I’d probably have dug down out of sheer curiosity. Especially after that little girl told him about how they replaced real mines with cans.

These human voices are really starting to grow on me. Please give all of the voice actors a props for me because they’re crushing it!

He deserved to live after all of the hardships he persevered through

There's no way in hell a professional and experienced soldier wouldn't take a minefield warning lightheartedly even if he suspects that it's bogus, old, outdated or irrelevant

It’s quite sad that he endured all of that just to realise he stepped on a empty can, not a mine

I'm glad the cameraman also survived staying with him the whole time

52 hours standing on a tin can in the desert in enemy territory or the 51 hours it took to pass my first kidney stone?

I did tear up a bit, only because of the sheer wisdom of the Berber.
No matter what happens in your life, you still have to move on, and the only stopping you, is fear.
It really puts in perspective the things that are dealt with in the world, and the will you must have to make a one time decision.

This movie taught me a lesson, that no matter how much you suffer, you must go through the hardships of life because you have goals to complete.
