He casually walks through a mine field with a mine, totally ignoring any other mines. Okay

I was waiting for him to step on one as he was walking to throw it away.

The kid after the war will be enjoying a random mine in the woods

The mines have a second purpose, when it is triggered the advancing soldiers position is given away. They might have been trying to prevent this.

Probably to area where they're being built up for a controlled detonation or just soldiers that aren't equipped to deal with mines or trained at all and they're making the best out of a bad situation by moving the threat out their way... Can't really judge too much though if ya not there and off some footage.

Perhaps the mine was not detonated in order to avoid noise that would alert the enemy and give away their position.

I'm sick of stepping around land mines everywhere. It's really tiring isn't it.
Pick up your landmines and put them away when you're done with them!

But what we don't know about this particular group, is just exactly what their situation is. They may be close to the enemy, in which case they wouldn't want to alert the enemy of their location by setting off a mine.
I don't know if that's the case, but it's something you would need to know before making judgement.

Can't really blame them if they're volunteers, They probably weren't taught about mine disposal.

I'm studying to be a deminer in Ukraine, I've seen the whole video-they yeeted it into a POND which is way safer than it being on the road.

If you are not trained on how to properly dispose of mines, that is exactly what you should do given the circumstances.

Also, they are supposed to report to DSNS (Ukraine's emergency services) the location of the yeeted mine.

Ya'll armchair everything would shit your pants in this situation so yeah, keep criticizing from the comfort of your home on what they did wrong.

Some mines are buried underneath the earth and one is on top in the open so soldiers like him step forward and stand on the one he can't see, he's very lucky he still has his legs attached, someone needs to tell them to stop doing this.

There is absolutely nothing professional about the way the mines are treated.

During the last 9 years of the war, children in front-line cities and towns learned to walk only on concrete surfaces, frequently used roads, to notice stretch marks in time and not to touch "forgotten" things, especially toys, and since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, it is almost impossible to find a child in Ukraine who does not know about the possible consequences of leaving the road.

At the beginning of the war, there were cases of teenagers being blown up by landmines and as a result of careless handling of unexploded shells, but in recent years, children have been exposed to danger exclusively by older relatives, who bring this evil home, ignoring the remarks of the younger ones.

Currently, the most affected by landmines are tractor drivers who cultivate partially mined fields and men who go into the bush.

In 25 years, long time after the war is gone : « Breaking news, a man was walking his dog this morning when he unfortunately walked on a mine, it appears to be placed by Russian forces back during the war. »
