The most stubborn dog ive ever had but in a funny way. These guys have so much personality and they can commit so much in a look 😐 they are also talkers. I dont normally let dogs bark at me but with these guys you can tell its frustration from not being able to articulate their point. Wildly smart animals, in a way like a donkey

When he leans into you and releases pressure you are supposed to reward him. Praise him for moving towards you and away from the tension of the leash. You will get faster progress.

I went through the same with my male APBT he gave me hell. I took my time and now he loves the walks

I call him "Suit" as a nickname..Just because that's what comes to mind every time I see him.. It genuinely looks like he's wearing a black suit or "Tux"..Plus he's super cute and adorable😊

My rottweiler was just like this when i got her at 8 weeks. Then i put the leash on her and just let her walk (without me holding it) to get her comfortable with it. By the 2 or 3rd day i was able to slowly get her to walk and now at 10 months and 90 lbs, shes a pro. Persistence

I've found a way to make dogs completely cool with the leash. Instead of creating at night or when company comes over I tie a slightly longer leash to something in the house(in my case a banister). This way they are confined to an area, still feel like they are apart of the action, can't jump or bother my guests & get comfortable wearing a leash. I've been doing this for years now & it always works. My 2 year old Presa has been doing this since he was 8weeks old(instead of creating at night).
