If you don't add straw/hay to their litter bin then they always leave before they finish properly. You need to give them something to do - it's the Rabbit equivalent of Reading a book or playing Angry Birds

My bunny is already litter trained so I don't know why I'm watching this 😂 JK I know why I'm watching because I love bini the bunny!

I think a video like this but also explaining how a rabbit’s digestive system works would be so helpful as background for new/prospective owners to understand what they’re actually dealing with.

I rescued 2 rabbits, Newman and Elaine, from a hoarding situation almost 2 years ago. Never owning rabbits before, I didn't realize how much work they are. Also, I have to go into the next state to take them to the vets. My dogs vet doesn't do rabbit yet they're called Noah's Ark with animals on the sign, including rabbits haha. After about 6 months, hay stopped working and Newmans teeth has to be cut down once a month. I have mastered the litter training. They decided they liked using my dining room as a toilet lol. They roam free but at night they go in a dog kennel for their safety. I have 3 large dogs that welcomed them into their pack but will bring me a hare as a gift 😳. They are a lot of work and expensive but worth every bit of it. We love you, Bini.

I love how they do those little flops and sprawl out when they're comfy. We use wood pellets for stoves as litter here

Thanks Ari & Bini! Great info as always ❤️. I’m doing ALL those things for 19-month old “Rooney”, but he still makes mistakes with his pee about 3-4 times per month! The poop is easier to deal with, but because of pee mistakes I can’t give him the “free-roam” life he deserves 😩. I adopted Roo from my local rescue shelter when he was about 12 weeks old and he IS neutered, (spay/neuter & micro-chipping is included in the adoption fee). Considering your great tips, I guess you can say I’m stuck at #5....PATIENCE! Any other tips will be gratefully accepted! Great video & it’s always a treat to see sweetie pie, Bini! I hope you’ll be back again, Ari, but may I ask where Bini’s bun-Dad is? Hope he’s well & please make more “Bin-deos”, (Bini + videos)!!! Love to all!!! ❤️❤️🐰🐰❤️❤️

I highly recommend separating their hay supply from their litter box. Like keep two boxes filled with hay, preferably one with more “used” hay. Your rabbit will pee in the used hay and eat the non used hay.

Whoa, a waiter, a bartender AND a bunny guy!!

My two (neutered) boys were rescued from a hoarding situation where they were in a hutch with sixteen other adult rabbits, so their experience with litterboxes prior to rescue was limited. They're really good about urinating in the litterbox when they're not marking my husband's stuff (*sigh*) and they do poop in the box because their hay feeder is mounted above the litterbox but the poop is We've always put it back into the box and OF COURSE are not punitive about it, but in the nearly two months since they've come home, I haven't seen an improvement.

That said, it's easy to sweep them up and be glad that they're willing to urinate in it. They've come a long way socially and I'm patient. STILL, I'd love to see more information on litter training adult rabbits. Thank you!!!

I let my rabbit out of the cage, he had the run of the yard! He would sleep under this one tree! He wouldn’t even go to the bathroom outside on his he lawn! He would wait until he went back inside his coop! In the winter he had his own bed! Smart little fella ❤️❤️❤️

Our cotton bun does a great job going in his potty box. Oatmeal bun needs a little more time to learn litter training. Love your video💯

Thank you for doing this video! I have a bunny for the first time in my life and would like to give him the chance to roam around a bit so this will help with my concerns about poop everywhere. Now to go search to see if they chew wires!

I wish I still had a bunny. I had one but it, you know. And I really miss my bunny and my parents said we can't get another one. So thanks for the helpful tip when I get another bunny in the future!
