Hey everyone! In this video, I'm showing you some common mistakes I made while doing my nails and how I fixed them. 😅 Things don’t always go as planned, but that’s totally fine! Let's take a look at how I fixed the thick nail tips and cleaned up the messy polish around my cuticles.

Here’s what went wrong:

1. Thick Nail Tips: When doing nails with forms, sometimes the product builds up too much, especially at the free edge, making the nails look bulky and uneven. 🛑

2. Messy Polish: I wasn’t careful enough when applying my polish, and it spilled onto the skin around my nails. This usually happens when the base coat or primer touches the skin, which causes the polish to run.

But no worries, here’s how I fixed it:

1. I used a metal carbide bit (perfect for shaping and reducing thickness) to carefully file down the bulk at the free edge, making the nails look slimmer and more polished.

2. Then, I used a manual file to clean up the sides of the nails and make them more contoured and neat.

3. For the polish mess, I gently used a cuticle pusher (also known as a sand manicure bit) to clean up the excess polish around the skin, giving it a much cleaner look.

Pro Tip: Be super careful when applying base coat or primer! If it touches the skin, it can cause the polish to run and look messy. 👌
