Horizon Hobby Carbon Cub SS UMX

This is a quick flight review of my new Carbon Cub SS UMX. I've since added larger tundra tires. The stock ones look a bit small for my taste.

This plane has a large flight envelope, but if you're just getting started, I'd highly recommend starting with the Sport Cub S UMX, as it flies sower, and has SAFE. This Carbon Cub SS comes with many more features, including flaps, LED's, wing struts, brushless motor, and better detail, but that all adds weight, and this plane needs more speed to fly. Yes, with flaps deployed you can fly slower, but not like the Sport Cub S UMX.

Please don't confuse my recommendation for the Sport Cub S, as a complaint against the Carbon Cub SS...they are both EXCELLENT planes, but the Carbon Cub SS is a more advanced plane. I still love it!

I e had this plane for 2 years and logged 300 plus flights on it and it still flys great, I fly with the floats off snow and it's a blast, check out my vids, nice flying !

Do you remember what kind of battery connector this plane has? I just recently bought one on eBay….. the box looks and smells like it came from the 70’s! Plane looks brand new though but I don’t recognize the connection type. Didn’t have a manual in the box. I’m new to flying also
