Found this today, whilst considering the purchase of a pre-loved Carbon Cub SS. How things have changed! I remember the old house and seeing it again today is a blast from the past. Thanks from a long-term UK fan.

I don't know what material you used but us old free flighters would glue strips of thread along the top of the airfoils and we did not call them vortex generators. We call them turbulators. At air speeds below say 12 or 11 mph air becomes harder to stay attach to a smooth laminar flow over the top of the wing. Tubulators excite the air enough to keep it attached and flowing over the wings. In that most of the time your Cub is flying well over 10 mph I doubt you'll notice a benefit. JMO

what are you settings on the dx6i, i set up with safe modes and plane was crazy to fly now waiting on new wings and body in mail, , but need to pick your brain on all the settings and mixes you use

i had a lot of carbon cubs. best thing is to put on some pieces of clear tape on the elevator. they already break with to much in put in the air
