Welcome my channel! If this is your first time seeing my face or hearing my voice, my name is Lee and I am a self aware narcissist. I have narcissistic personality disorder ( NPD ) and I've been in therapy for my personality disorder since 2017 and it has definitely changed my life because without it, I would have lost everything.

The point of these videos is to help bring awareness from the other side of the narcissistic *buse spectrum. All my videos give perspective on why many narcissists do what they do and the possible different reasons behind them. The victims and survivors get validation and the Narcissists (those that are willing) get to see that you can get help and that you are not alone.

Exactly what my husband was doing behind my back. So sweet to my face Destroying me behind my back for 17 years. I was clueless to it. I would pickup on something off with others but I never thot it was him doing that. He behaved as he was my loyal dear bestie and others are just mean. He was feeding them lies and constantly alienating me. When he dumped me nobody wanted to hear anything I had to say about what actually happened when he took his mask off in front of me. No one believed me.

Such a sad existence for anyone who resorts to these measures. I've been denied jobs because of other people's insecurities and I'm just trying to mind my business and support my family. I feel sorry for folks like this.

My ex would spread lies about me to his mom and blame her the entire relationship then finally admitted it at the end. He's conducted multiple smear campaigns against me and then told me I better not sue him for it. Then, he took me to family court over custody bc he knew that was going to hurt the most even though he knew I had evidence of the abuse he subjected our child and myself to. He blamed me for going to court but then would admit he felt threatened bc I started setting boundaries on his behavior especially around our child. It's sad and disturbing honestly. Our child has been affected tremendously by this! It's soul crushing to know what my child's endured.

As a licensed therapist myself, you’re an amazing asset to our cause to help people. Let me tell you how scary it really is that more therapists than not are themselves dysfunctional and narcissists themselves. I know several in my area of practice. Finding a good therapist is becoming less and less common, sadly. It’s difficult to gain a clients trust these days because they’ve been traumatized by these quack therapists that give the rest of us a bad name.

You are the ONLY source on this topic who has allowed me the glimpse into my ex that I needed not to go back. Don't EVER let people invalidating you in the comments stop this work, please. Out of all the Narcissist coaches out there I have gotten very little of value until someone explained to me why he'd say the things he said, why he'd do the things he did. All anyone else has to say is "they're evil subhuman creatures hellbent on your destruction" and it's so unrealistic that abuse victims can't buy it 100% and THAT'S why they go back!!! Narcs are human beings, they're not Voldemort, package it that way and our cognitive dissonance is not gonna buy it. It's really dangerous what a lot of coaches are doing. Mine was intentional. He even pretended to want to work on relationship to get “closure sex” before going out that weekend at a hotel to drink, do drugs and sleep with whatever supply he could. We were married. This mentality occurred every month for 5 months in the end.

Lee, God bless you for your admission and sharing your insights as a narcissist. I found your videos a few days ago. I dated a woman with narcissistic traits for about 1 year, 6 years ago.

Don't know if this is an ability of most narcissists but when our relationship was good, it was damn, over-the-top, good! Despite that all of my top 10 relationship experiences were with her, I had to end the relationship because the BS arguments and gaslighting was unbearable, overshadowing the awesome moments.

At the time I went full no contact even blocking her on my phone and all social media, but in recent years we have reconnected for brief periods. Every time we reconnect I hold hope she learned from a recently failed relationship and it will be different. She even says things like; "Sorry I mistreated you." "you deserve better from me." As you can guess it only takes a couple of days before it's back to old habits.

Currently, I have her blocked again and have for approx 5 months now and will admit here that I won't to my friends. She is my Kryptonite! Thoughts of the awesome side of her is affecting my dating life and I have secretly been hoping she does something like show up at church or my front door and that she has truly changed.

Your videos are helping me move her out of my head.

I think it's great that you are trying to address your toxic traits. People should commend you for that. Therapy isn't easy. I'm glad you are handling it.

He would constantly say “you don’t intimidate me” all the time as if he was somehow trying to convince himself. We had one episode and I immediately went NC. I’m very successful, financially intact, friends, travel the world.. I’m very well respected in my community. Since I went NC, I’m I’m just waiting… waiting on something to happen.
