Re: #1 - my grandma gave me the best sex advice. She said, "if you can't openly and comfortably talk about sex with your girlfriend, you two should not be having sex." This was given to young me as advice, but it holds true many decades later. You have to communicate with your partner if you want to have great sex, and why would anyone want to settle for average or just OK sex when it's simple to make the jump to great sex.

Totally agree, I talked to my romantic partners, established boundaries, talked about feelings, I thought communication was super important.
