Here's one tip, not from the model industry but everywhere: dont sign blank papers if someone tells you to, they would first get the sign and then print the conditions. Which easily works as an evidence

thank you for sharing your experience with the photographer. male SA is hardly talked about as it is, and in an industry where your career could be threatened by saying a negative word against the wrong person, I'm sure it's 10× harder to talk about. I love that women are feeling safe enough to open up about their experiences more, and I really hope that mentality grows and men begin to feel safe too. whoever needs to hear it, you're a real victim, men can be assaulted too, you weren't supposed to "just enjoy it", men CAN cry, especially about something that traumatic, and you didn't deserve it.

When i started out as a model, i worked with a lot of up-and-coming photographers - who have set up studios in their homes. Some of them are quite famous today. Also, some jobs may not get u "exposure" but they help gain experience. A lot of ex-models are bitter because they didnt make it.

I’m a freelance photographer. Whenever I shoot it’s usually outside and I will always tell them to bring a friend for support and it smooths out the experience.

I just have to back him up completely. I modeled for over 15 years both in the US and Europe. He is spot on and I am really glad that he is putting this out there for young people today that are interested in getting in the industry. It can be a lot of fun however, you must have a very strong foundation of who you are and decide what you will and will not do before you start booking jobs. Replay everything he said daily. ❤
