If anyone does choose this route make sure it’s the diatomaceous
FOOD GRADE) and NOT THE CHEMICAL ONE!
Other than that, it’s works pretty awesome..

This absolutely works. Just remember that fleas use dogs, and sometimes humans, strictly for a meal. Whatever you find on your pets represents about 10% of their total population. As such, the ones that were not seen on your pet, roughly 90%, need to be eliminated as well. So treat your home and yard with food grade diatomaceous earth too.

I had a flea infestation 1 time. I have a parrot so I cannot bomb house. I am deathly allergic to flea collars/ flea drops on my dogs. I got bad headaches and horrible watery eyes from them. I used salt on floor 1st floor, left for 3 days. Vacuum. Repeat. Gone.
Dog washed in dawn dish soap and then a nice conditioner for skin. Dawn can be drying. I used diata-matious earth in my basement floor where fleas were the worst. My cat got them and liked hanging out in basement. Fleas gone.

The powder is very fine and can easily become airborne and inhaled. It works, but I have to be very careful with my cat because it will give him asthma attacks if it becomes airborne. Just a heads up

I have a dog who is living with kidney disease, I didnt want to use toxic flea shampoo so I used dandruff shampoo to soother the skin of itchiness and did the diatomaxious earth on him. within a day I noticed a difference in itchiness and flea poop....it really works!

I don't keep carpet in my home. I have rugs and hard floors. My sofa is not of cloth material and I wipe and vacuum deep in the grooves.
Beds get washed and new beds bought often.
I had a tick infestation once and a flea infestation once.
Lessons learned.

We mix it on our chicken feed. Our free range flock feces is checked twice a year. Been clean from worms for the last nine years.🐔🐛😁

Love your channel and I agree with all but this one. Diatomaceous earth is a fine powder and easily ingested casing lung issues in both humans and animals. It's OK to add to liquids and drink but be careful using it as a powder
