Water makes fleas close up, you want the soap getting in them before they go into their defense for water.

I found that using a little bit of Dawn soap like a teaspoon works really well for getting rid of fleas. It doesn’t repel them. Also, apple cider vinegar with mother, preferably and lemon juice works really well! If you’re worried about your dogs paws, I would suggest using coconut oil for an anointment. Dawn work's for a minute.. Had my last dog 14 year's, she had fleas twice in NH, move WV she passed away.. Still no fleas..
Got my 8 week old Chihuahua, think she came here with them. 2 short months we're now infested... Ughhh.. Just got a flea dip, and some citronella spray.. About to try it now.. Have bathed and bathed and bathed her.. Nothing is helping.. Hopefully the dip will work 😔

Brewers Yeast works wonders! Excretes through their pores and fleas n ticks hate it. Been using for a long time.

Dawn helped get a only a few once but next time nothing in the water not one flea n I tried medicated oatmeal soap n it did nothing to help
