I got my dog late in her life. She had really bad teeth. They hurt, and she's old. I now pour a tea spoon of coconut oil in her bowl after meal & she laps it up. HELPS with her teeth!! Rubbing her teeth with it is no longer possible, now she's 14, Healthy but it hurts too much to rub or even apply. Loose tooth here & there!? THANKS for tips - ShineON!!

Myrrh essential oil mixed with organic coconut oil works real well also (light on the myrrh, as it is very potent and powerful). I use it on the gums of my senior maltese rescue baby. I use it regularly (twice daily) as it helps to keep the inflammation down.

So... my dog had swollen red gums after he had 13 teeth removed, 😭. He is 14 1/2 . Dachshund/ terrier. The vet said he had lymphoma in April, so we went to a holistic vet an hour away, once a week. 800 a month now for 3 months. He is doing good, but the red gums came back. She is not sure it is the C word. How do 2 vets disagree? And not know. So I'm going to try these natural things. He's on 8 different supplimenrs/ vitamins and has had anal ozone 7 times. We can't afford to keep going for 800 a month. Praying and trusting he will be ok. 😢 ✝️. He's also on raw food. No dog food
