A word of caution! A friend of mine used apple cider vinegar in a daily mixture for oral health for about a year. The acid in the vinegar eroded his teeth. He had no idea the damage was coming from the vinegar. He had to have them all pulled out. It was a surprisingly short period of time between starting using the cider vinegar, and getting the teeth pulled. Like 12 or 18 months. It was a tragedy. I know many people who believe in using Apple Cider Vinegar for oral hygiene, but if your pets' enamel is weak in any way, it might do more damage than good! Please forgive me: I have great faith in your veterinarian knowledge, and value your presentations. My warning is about an unusual, and not widely known bit of information!

Feed your dog mostly raw meat and bones and they will never have stinky breath. Grain causes oral issues in dogs and humans and my 3 year old fox terrier never needs his teeth brushed.
