The poor are more likely to die of just about everything - with possible exception of things like horse riding, skiing etc.

This is a war on the poor period. The poor are the essential workers who have no choice but to not stay home and expose themselves in groups & the quality of hospitals (staff & equipment) also reflects in large part the income of the residents in that area. Doesn’t matter which country you live in, the poor, without relief from their government, will be affected the most.

Poor people disproportionately affected by a pandemic... next you'll be telling me a lack of money leads to poverty.

This is news and reason to fight harder against financial inequality.

How come nobody ever mentioned anything about mental health hospitals and their patients and therapists etc. In the UK? There overcrowded here, forget social distancing...

if that was the case, how is it that the elderly across the country in care homes became infected? Are these care homes located in "poor" areas?

All the well off people I know in London are in their holiday home in Wales now, or working from home, the less well off are mostly key workers cleaning hospitals.

no proof whatsoever that Prince Charles, Tom Hanks or Rita Wilson ever had Covid 19

Aren’t people who are less affluent just more squashed in together? Bigger families and more siblings sharing rooms, housed in multi-storey flats or rows of terraced housing? Richer people’s homes are a bit more spacious and spread out, aren’t they?

Poor people may in general eat less healthy foods, and have a less healthy lifestyle (too much TV, alcohol and cigarettes). The better educated people are and the better their income, the better the lifestyle and resulting health will be.
