The biggest problem is birth . Instead of just feeding millions of people (which is costly) UN, NGO’s, and other organisations who donate need to start funding contraception.

I am from Africa, and what I have realised is that most Africans suffer because poor people here give birth to many kids and can’t afford to take care of them .In 3rd world countries and poverty stricken countries, Sex, alcohol and drugs are the order of the day. You can’t stop people from having sex, so they need to stop people from giving birth . I assure you that 90% of children born in Africa were not planned for. So they need to implement a system of planned parenthood in Africa . This would decrease the poverty rate by a very large portion . Just feeding people alone doesn’t tackle poverty . When it comes to poverty, the head of the snake here is birth, education and healthcare.

i just came across to see the video. The war in Ukraine and Russia is a waste of money. A portion of billion dollars can helped the unprivileged countries which I considered also as war in poverty . I thanked Lord Jesus Christ for giving us blessed country with beautiful islands, fertile soil and hard working people.

In 1990, among the 30 poorestes countries in the world (based on HDI) there were roughly 15 african and 15 asian nations.
Now, 27 out of 30 are africa. The 3 exceptions are haiti, yemen and afghanistan.
