I go for 120-125 For deep house & 126-129 for deep/Minimal spaced out Tech house. It depends on what vocals, & film samples, but i cut up vocals putting vocals in a different order. etc.

I always make my songs in 90 bpm and sometimes 138 bpm..
They gives me chill and melodious feeling👌👌

I remember when I was a teenager I got a tape from my friend I think it was called "Terrordrome" or something like that and the tracks there had about 180-220bpm. It sounded pretty much like when people are using heavy machinery during roadworks haha. But my tracks got between 115-124bpm (trying to stay around 120).

Some genres are really specific on BPM. For instance: Uplifting trance is usually 138BPM with maybe +/- 2BPM in rare cases.

128 is a thing because 32 bars is exactly one minute. keys are different because of vibrato.

132 is the new 128, revealed recordings' new tracks are mostly 130-132
