Just picked up my 404 yesterday and had binged all your videos months beforehand and was able to make a beat (albeit crappy) pretty much instantly! Thank you so much for all your work dude! If it weren't for your videos I'd be totally lost

I definitely love doing both of those methods. The first thing I did out the box once I learned a few buttons was just grab a bunch of samples and have drums coming from my phone while trying to play along lmao.
I sometimes used the djfx looper to get a droning quick loop of a sample and sometimes play drums to that.

Useful vid, I've often seen myself try to force a sample to work for me at a certain tempo on the SX, sometimes takes ages to wake up and let the sample guide the beat. Good to have this reminder 👍

great video and topic! I usually use the MARK button and edit the start/end points until I get the same tempos across all my samples—-it takes time and is usually tedious, but usually makes for a smoother beat!!

Bro can u change a bpm screen from 70 to 70.3 or 70.9 ?
