Why did Ableton abandoned the precious "Seg BPM" function in the audio clip view ?

From version 1 to version 10, this function showed the actual bpm of a sample and worked perfectly !
Live 11 hasn't it anymore ... 😥

Note to self. Continue to use Logic for detecting BPMs.

Using Cubase 13 : 1) analyse audio to make tempo track 2) generate midi click track 3) import the midi track in ableton to get the song tempo

This method is only correct when the track has been played with a metronome. To chase a track with variable BPM (e.g. funky tracks played) I haven't found any function integrated into Ableton to do it.

Ableton in so convoluted here given that on any DJ program it will automatically tell you the bpm upon loading the track!

How do you get the horizontal lines (0 crossing point)? I just have normal vertical grid, tried zooming in and out.

Ableton is lame. No beat analyzer? Denon SC5000 have it and it's not even a laptop. Get with it, guys. SMH Just use tunebat Analyzer and upload your track. It'll do it much quicker.

should have done for an isolated vocal without beat. That's what i am doing and need to find the right bpm.
